Newspapers

Magazines
- What magazines (if any) do you buy regularly? Why/why not? - Fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle and Vanity
- What sections of the magazines do you read and not read, and why? - I don't tend to read the articles of the magazines because they often go off topic on fashion and instead look at lifestyle. I read the main fashion pages such as new items or trends.
Television
- Approximately how many hours a week do you spend watching television? - 8-9 hours

- What times of day do you usually watch television? - After school or as eating dinner/lunch
- What programmes do you like best and why? - I enjoy watching kdramas (korean television shows) because I really love and enjoy kpop (korean pop). The best ones I have watched are true beauty, alice in boarderland and all of us are dead
- Do you watch alone or with others? If you watch with others, who decides what you will watch? - afterschool I often watch television on my own, while on the other hand during dinner my younger sister picks what we watch.

Radio

Film
- What films have you seen in the cinema in the last month? - F1, Jurassic park and smurfs
- What films have you seen in other places – for example, through Netflix, Amazon Prime, satellite/cable film channels (free or otherwise) or streaming? - high school catfish, lots of kdramas, (don't remember the others)
- Who else watched the films with you? - My parents and younger sister
- Who decided what films to watch? - All of us take turns on what to watch

Online
- How often do you access the internet? - everday
- Where do you access the internet? At home, at school, commuting etc. - home, school, public
- What are the main sites that you access? - Instagram, Whatsapp, Youtube
- What are the main reasons for accessing these sites – for example, for information, to make purchases, communicate with friends or for entertainment? - to message friends, make online purchases such as online shopping, studying as well
- What other activities (if any) do you do whilst accessing the internet? - listening to music or studying such as writing up flashcards
- What different devices do you use to access the internet? What is your primary device for accessing the internet? - My Primary device would be my laptop. But I also use my phone a lot
- What social networks do you use regularly (e.g. Twitter, Instagram)? Why do you belong to these networks in particular? - Instagram. I use Instagram because I believe it is not as addicting compared to watching tiktok videos which people can spend hours, if not a whole day on. Which can make one miss out on opportunities
Final section: reflection
- How can you develop the amount and variety of media you consume? - Being more engaged into the news and the world around us. Also thinking about why this happened and what this is supposed to mean as watching different types of media.
- What will you change in your media consumption habits this year as a result of studying A Level Media? - I would pay more attention to detail in different types of media along with how others may view the same media that is being presented.
