MIGRAIN assessment 1 - learner response

1) Decent first exam, well done! Expand on your analysis, along with using more theorists and theories to support my point and argument 

2) For the very first question, my analysis was very off point paired with not using any theorists. Whereas for the second question my ideas were clearly seen just the use of no theorists used set back my level. Finally, for the last question where I lacked was my information and not knowing it well.

3) For all the answers seen to the questions clear structure was seen with the theorists and use of the correct terminology used for each question.

4) For the first question, even though my terminology was correct it wasn't fully expanded. Whereas for the second and third question I used incorrect terminology such as for describing genre saying it is only seen in films 

5) Question 3 - Using real life examples, Excellent knowledge and understanding of the influences of genre and consistent highly appropriate use of subject specific terminology throughout.

PART 1 1 - The meanings the audience encouraged to take about the two main characters is that they are both conveying a sense of joy when they play the music instrument. When the man then complains about the noise, The boys look sad. Which portrays to the audience that they are limited to joy.  Additionally, the props such as the way they are dressed such as outfits being worn out which conveys they are from a low class family. While physical experiences such as the boys being around 15-16 years old, facial expressions such as annoyed and depressed. The boy's  actions , such as rushing to grab the musical instrument, emphasize both their  resourcefulness and vulnerability , highlighting their lower status and the importance of small pleasures in their lives. TASK 1 TECHNICAL CODES CAMERAS WORK / PHOTOGRAPHIC - the camera work shows a close up of 50 cent expression of being serious which conveys his career and lifestyle.  LIGHTING - On the print the low key, high control lighting   is shining above 50 cent, making him the spotlight and the central of the ad , which presents intensity, connoting danger and seriousness The dark lighting behind 50 cent conveys black lives matter, attracts different audience for reebok, such as 50 cent's fan base and black people. SOUND - None EDITING -  Moreover, the image is spilt into two sides, one showing 50 cent and the other showing fingerprints which presents his presence and past.  Additionally, the photo is black and white which portrays the  mood  and sets the  tone  of being dark and yet evil.
